Welcome

At Ceramica, we believe the most beautiful things in life are the ones that tell a story—flaws, cracks, and all.

We’re a pottery studio in Albuquerque offering memberships, workshops, and flexible access with options for 24hr access hours to accommodate the rhythm of your life, no matter how unconventional. We offer a variety of classes, including introductory courses for beginners, continuing classes for those ready to refine their skills, and kids' classes to spark creativity at a young age.

Our studio is built on the idea that imperfection isn’t something to hide—it’s something to celebrate. Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi and the philosophy of Wabi-sabi, we embrace the beauty of the unfinished, the broken, and the human.

My husband and I created Ceramica as a reflection of our own journey—a leap of faith to pursue a dream and a belief that art has the power to heal, connect, and inspire. Here, it’s not about perfection—it’s about the process and joy of making, the stories behind every piece, and the connections we form along the way.

At Ceramica, we’re here to remind you that the cracks and flaws are where the light gets in. Let’s create something beautiful together.

Ceramica is more than just a pottery studio—it’s a dream my husband and I have brought to life together. For me, ceramics has always been more than a craft. It’s been my therapy, my safe haven, and the place where I’ve discovered the best parts of myself.

My journey with ceramics started in high school here in Albuquerque. A close friend encouraged me to sign up for a ceramics class with them. I had planned to take a different elective, but that one decision ended up changing the course of my life. At a time when I really needed it, ceramics gave me confidence and a sense of purpose, and it’s been a constant source of curiosity and joy ever since.

Later, I pursued a career in design and spent seven years in Los Angeles, where I worked full-time while carving out any time I could to stay connected to ceramics. I started teaching at a local studio on top of my job and spent countless late nights working on personal projects. That studio gave me 24-hour access, which was essential for balancing work and creativity. It showed me how important it is to have spaces that accommodate unconventional schedules.

When we decided to move back to NM, my husband and I committed to making this dream a reality together. Ceramica is a reflection of everything we believe in: that art can bring people together, that small moments can create lasting change, and that everyone deserves a space to explore their creativity and connect with others.

We want Ceramica to be more than a studio. It’s a place for you to feel at home, take a break from life's demands, and create something meaningful—whether you’re a seasoned potter or touching clay for the first time.

This is our dream, and we’re so excited to share it with you. Welcome to Ceramica.
