One Time Classes
Experience the best of both worlds in this beginner-friendly class that combines wheel throwing and handbuilding!
In this two-hour session, you'll start by learning how to throw a bowl on the potter's wheel—no experience necessary! Then, you'll switch gears and explore handbuilding techniques, crafting a unique piece using only your hands and a few simple tools.
This is the perfect way to dip your toes into the world of pottery without committing to a full course—or to share a creative and memorable experience with a friend.
After class, choose a glaze color for both of your creations. We'll handle the glazing and firing for you, and your finished pieces will be ready to pick up in about three weeks.

Intro to ceramics
This class covers the foundations of ceramics with a focus on handbuilding techniques. Students will learn about working with clay, different building methods, surface decoration, underglazes, glazes, and more while exploring both functional and decorative approaches to ceramics.
This class is open to all experience levels. Beginners will be introduced to the fundamentals of working with clay, while students with previous experience can continue developing their skills, explore new techniques, and work on more individualized projects.

Wheel Throwing
Learn the entire process of making pottery on the wheel in this four-week beginner-friendly course.
Classes meet weekly for two hours, with open studio hours available to practice at your own pace.
Topic Specific Classes
Tuesday Techniques is a rotating series of focused 2-3 hour workshops designed to explore specific ceramic skills, processes, and surface techniques. These classes offer students the opportunity to deepen their understanding of clay through targeted instruction, experimentation, and hands-on practice in a smaller class setting.
6 Week Continuing classes
Wheel Throwing II
This six-week class is ideal for advanced beginners and intermediate potters ready to develop their skills and explore more complex forms & Techniques, wit a focus on throwing larger forms, trimming, handles, and lids. Class will meet once a week for 6 weeks with additional time for students to practice on their own during studio hours.
